About Rebecca

First and foremost I am a mother to 3 lovely (yet very busy boys) and I’m married to a sweet, charming man who makes me laugh everyday. I was born and raised in the Yukon but have come to appreciate the wide open prairies.

Ever since I was little I’ve had an interest in design and paid strong attention to detail in some way or another. When I’d play Barbie’s with my sister I’d decorate the entire house (right down to hanging pictures I had drawn with little frames, to rolling tiny rolls of toilet paper) and once the house was complete, I’d want to start all over, while my sister continued on with the Barbie’s story line.

I must  have redecorated and rearranged my bedroom almost every second day growing up.

I never really discovered I was creative until after high school, when I was hired on at a local flower store. I feel in love with all of the possibilities there were in floral design and I apprenticed and worked as a designer for over 5 years (I miss it dearly).

However, after my eldest son was born, I began to take pictures all of the time. I began to realize just how important photographs are, just how much emotion & memory a single photograph can contain, and how much it related to the same elements as floral design.

After getting my first DSLR I began my journey with some amazing courses (and people) which has led me to the now.

Thank you for visiting our space on the web. I look forward to getting to know you & helping to preserve special moments with the ones whom you love.

About Lisa

I have always loved taking pictures and that love of photography grew even more after I had my boys. For me, the idea of freezing time and capturing moments is an incredible and passionate experience. And it is most important that I have the opportunity to share these experiences and help others to create their own captured memories.
As a photographer, I love natural light, shooting outdoors and on location and most of all, having a lot of fun. Because to me, a posed portrait doesn’t always capture who you are and the true spirit that you and your family bring to life.
I’ve always been an emotional person and that shows through my photography. I strive to capture those emotions, bringing them to life and to really get into the moment – while keeping things fun and lighthearted.
I am the mother of two beautiful boys that I take too many pictures of, the wife of a mostly patient husband – who supports me while I take this transition – following my heart and passion for photography and sharing it with others.

Thank you for allowing me to tag along on your adventures…
