FAQ and Policies

Here are some answers to some of the most commonly asked questions about Edmonton Boudoir Photography

How do I contact you?

Drop us an email to info@edmontonboudoirphotography.com or give Rebecca a phone call 780-278-7022, we would love to chat about any questions you have, or help you reserve your spot!

Sign me up! How do I book?

A $100.00 deposit is required to hold your session spot.   Deposits are non-refundable.  Deposits can be sent to us by email money transfers, paypal (there is a 10% fee added on for these transactions) and by cheque in the mail.

How do I prepare?

Besides treating your self kindly and telling yourself you are fabulous every time you see yourself in the mirror, you can prepare in the following ways:  Treat yourself to a manicure/pedicure the week before the shoot. Be plucked and trimmed. Please do not wear a bra before the shoot if possible as the straps leave marks when you are changing. Its great to email a couple photos that you may stumble on so we know the exact look you are going for and can prepare your props and wardrobe. Have face and hair washed, and bring foundation that best matches your skin tone along with make up remover for after your shoot. A good white lie for your significant other is that you are meeting a photographer to discuss something… You can remove your make up here and he will never know that you were the star in your very own sexy photo shoot until he receives your album.

I would like to bring my bridal party- do you offer group discounts to photograph us all?

We are pleased to extend to all of our friends and clients our Stagette/Bachelorette and Diva’s Night Out party planning. We provide photo sessions for you and all of your friends, champagne, music, light catering, props and accessories, and a photo montage that will create a great gift for all of your group. Pricing depends on size of group. Email us at info@edmontonboudoirphotography.com for more details.

Do you have a payment plan?  What types of payment do you accept?

We do offer payment plans – but on an individual basis only. Contact us before your shoot to make arrangements. We do not accept post-dated cheques without prior authorization from either Rebecca or Lisa in writing. All NSF fees are the responsibility of the client and will be added onto your final invoice if incurred. Payment is due before your shoot begins and we only accept cash (preferably) or cheque. If you would like to pay your balance before your shoot – we accept email money transfers as well.   We also ask that you plan ahead for tipping the hair and makeup artists the day of your shoot – we don’t have any type of electronic payment available there.

Can I bring a friend in for support during the shoot?

For sure! It can be a lot of fun and a bit more comfortable to have  a great friend by your side during the shoot. In order to make sure all of our clients have a completely comfortable experience – we do not allow an men into our shoots (even into the sitting area).

What is the timeline like for receiving my online proofs and products after the shoot?

Each marathon comes with unique order deadlines (ie: Christmas and Valentine’s day we are swamped – so order deadlines are shorter to make sure we have enough time to fulfill everyone’s order). Our usual timeline is:

2-3 weeks after the shoot: Online Proof Album is complete and available (we’ll send you an email with your link)

4-6 weeks for product orders (but if you need it faster let us know!). Our albums are handmade by a company in the US – but we try to keep a few on hand just in case there is a rush order that comes in.

We ask that you place your order no more than 30 days after your shoot. That includes orders of digital images. Your online album is only active for 30 days and then it will be removed. If your album is removed before you place your order – we will charge you a $50 fee to reactivate it.
